Camp Canine started letting the dogs out to play over 35 years ago! Wow, that’s amazing to see how far we have come in dog care and socializing them with each other….
We started group play in a supervised area because dogs just want to have fun. With that being said, dogs have preferences with each other like we do. Like attracts like!
Dogs love being free to be a dog without the owner at the end of the leash; time out from mom and dad. Go sniff, bow and play!
Safety is always the intention of a play session. A human leader is present 100 percent of the time monitoring the group! For example, NO humping allowed, which is a very normal dog behavior but not in group setting!
Camp Canine requires quick release collars only in a group setting, as dogs tend to play with their mouths and love to be at the neck and face. There are no choke chains, prong collars or harnesses when dogs are playing together. This can apply to any place you let your dog run free and safe!
